Well, you've read the notes, the notes resurrected the memory of Helen Twelvetrees, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently looking for the twelfth tree.

I'm going to record the rebroadcast of 42nd Street on Thursday afternoon because the broadcast last night had a few glitches.  Hopefully, those glitches won't be in the rebroadcast.

Today, I'm going to my sister's for a while, then I'm ushering for a local production of Songs for a New World.  I actually signed up to usher for several performances of it.  The company, Broadway Olympia Productions, was who put on A Christmas Story last year.

Thanks for the vibes!  Having never been through this thing  before, where you can be there for a 7:30 AM flight an hour early, but since the lines are backed up, they say "you're not gong to make your flight" an hour before the flight rather than help you make the flight :) - I'll just leave more time.

Which of course means that I can expect to breeze through and have two hours or more to kill before the flight.

And I chose American Airlines today, since I have a pass for that lounge so if it turns out I do get to the gate hours early (which can be expected when you leave a lot of time), there will be a place to go

I didn't get my New Yorkers CD yet either, but when I tried to file my PayPal complaint, they told me since I'm already on file and a Viertel is involved, I should file my complaint directly with the NYS Human Rights office on 125th Street where they have my Jen Tepper complaints.  They'll try to consolidate them.

A further conversation with the THEN Hotel suggests that it is certainly not a deluxe hotel, or may be several steps below Holiday Inn.

Fingers crossed, but it's walking distance from where I'm going to be, so if it's not good -  hopefully I'll just need the hotel for sleeping.

But they recommended it.  Actually, they said its the only hotel in walking distance, and wondered aloud if I'd like a car rental suggestion.

It looks nice on the site, but I wonder now if it's one of their hotels in another city?

Usually, the phone people at nice chains couldn't care less to accommodate your travels woes.  "If you don't come back, who cares" , is usually an attitude of a place you want to stay  because it means they're really in demand.

Like the director who bends over backwards  to do a reading for the writers probably doesn't have other offers,

so you want the director who's squeezing your reading in along with ten other projects and fielding emails about those other projects during every break in rehearsal - because that means he or she actually likes your show and cares to do your show even though he or she has lots of other things going.  (as opposed to being grateful for something, anything,  to do and your show just happened to be the offer)
