Fortunately, I now have an adjustable bed, so that I can sit up to read or watch TV without any effort.
So far, I am not getting any better.
Thanks for the travel vibes. Home in time for bed.

When our elevator was out, I was grateful that Val was willing to carry 40 lbs of kitty litter up three flights for me.Packages are frequently left at the base of the stairs. Usually that's fine, but when it's the water I open the box, then carry two bottles at a time up the stairs, necessitating 6 trips. Our mail delivery isn't very good to start with. I no longer put out outgoing mail because they don't pick it up. I've talked with the supervisor repeatedly, and she seems to want things done right, but the carriers seem to do as they like. This incident was a new low. Not only is it completely disrespectful to people with disabilities, it's disrespectful to the average able-bodied person who can't lift heavy packages.

Perhaps she was afraid that she might drop it and break it, in which case she would have to notify her supervisor that her water broke.
