If that is the case, I'm going to blame it on this recipe's five eggs, and next time try Jane's recipe that only uses two eggs.

I don't know exactly how it works.  I think you pick up a bag to put items into and also have a scanner.

A few years ago my county passed a law that stores must charge 5 cents for every plastic bag they give you.  Virtually everyone now carries reusable bags .

When we moved here we were shocked the markets had plastic bags.  I have been taking my own bags into markets for over 30 years.  Originally I reused paper bags until they fell apart.

I really don't want to do that, and I expect it is a pain if you change your mind about an item after scanning it.

No you simply press the delete button and scan it again.  It's very useful when checking prices

I am referring to the method where you scan as you shop.  Is that what you mean or the shelf check out counter?

Darn, I just noticed a different problem with my contacts making both boxes incorrect.  Now I only have 9 days of contacts left.

Yikes!  That's inconvenient. :P

I care more about running out of contacts.  I prefer not to wear my glasses in the rain.

And hazelnuts
Jane's favorite.

At the rate they keep sneaking into food I have noticed my reaction isn't as severe.  Funny though  I don't like them enough to completely test my theory.  Better safe than sorry.

Well, I need to get to Fred Meyer for some more cream cheese, and to see if anyone is using scanners.

Be back later.

So, I didn't notice anyone using scanners, nor did I see any place to get them, nor did I notice anyone scanning anything with their own phones...not that it wasn't happening, but I just didn't see anyone. :-\

;D

I will take a closer look at the system next time I am there.

My only concern is that it'll turn out to be more fluffy-cakey than a dense-type cheesecake, which is much preferred.

 :o

I want a full report tomorrow.

Back from a pretty good run-through.  Fixed several things I wasn't happy with.  Act one ran forty-six minutes, so we're only a minute off there - and act three ran twenty-eight, so close there, even though it felt like forty minutes.  Act two is still the problem child at forty-nine minutes.  A lot of is is cues and pace, but I think I'm going to make a couple of small excisions that just kind of lay there and feel dated.

It's supposed to keep the water from the waterbath out of the cheesecake, but I don't think I wrapped it thoroughly enough.  I did notice some water, but hopefully, it's not so much to ruin the cheesecake.

At about 3:00 am , the wind woke me up.  I thought someone was trying to break in thru the slider.

One pie is blueberry, which is as close as we can get to Saskatoonberry pie on Long Island.

I thought the Saskatoonberry was more like a blackberry.
