Tonight was HUGE fun.  There was so much more energy than just a week ago.  Without spoiling it for any readers who might see the show, the end of Act Two was just so funny, the actors really embraced chaos closing the act.

Thx for the get better vibes. For colds I  highly recommend mixing chicken broth with leftover Thxgiving turkey, fresh cornbread stuffing and spicing it with a little hot Mexican sauce.

I had a night similar to the one before.  I fell asleep soon after I turned off the lights at 9:00, and I slept quite well.  I woke up from a deep sleep thinking, it's got to be the middle of the night.  Nope, it was only 12:30.  Once I fell back to sleep, I slept rather well.  I woke around 5:00 with all three cats huddled around me.

I remembered two dreams from last night.  In the first, I was a student at Miami University, only it wasn't the campus of 1965, it was today's overcrowded jumble of buildings; yet I was lost because the geography was different.  I do not remember the whys and wherefores of why several theatre students and instructors and I were wondering around a closed theatre building in the middle of the night, but one instructor left his little dog Tony behind.  So, I stuck him inside my jacket and started to walk home with Annabelle - who just suddenly showed up - sitting on my shoulder.  Qw passed a building with a flower garden by the door and Annabelle jumped down and vanished, then Tony vanished after her, and the remainder of the dream was about trying to retrieve them.

In the second dream, I was recording Kern and Gershwin songs in a space like the Dave Finkelman Auditorium in Middletown, OH.  We had an orchestra of NY musicians, my producer Judy Sherman, Alix Korey, Rebecca Luker, and other singers.  Rebecca told me about fishing on a lake when she wasn't working, and I dragged Brent Barrett in to records a duet with Alix Korey.

I do not think I will make the downtown trip this morning.  It can wait till next week.

I’m impressed with Nicky’s age, but I know too well how difficult and emotionally draining this elderly cat stuff is. We’re going through stuff here, too.

Kitty cleanup accomplished, I need some breakfast.

I canceled AT&T earlier this week. So, naturally I got a bill from them this morning.

That meant I had to call AT&T and be lied to again by them. It seems though the account was canceled, they hadn't turned off the automatic payments, so, if I hadn't called, they would have taken money from my account until I did call.

Then they lied to me and said that the bill I received this morning had actually been received before I canceled the service.

I wonder if the lying constantly makes them feel better about working for a morally bankrupt company.

I was talking with a woman recently who retired from AT&T and she had to cancel her service for many of the same reasons that I had, including worst customer service on the planet. "They can continue to give me my pension, but they aren't going to give me phone service anymore," she said.

The reviews for Jagged Little Pill are all over the place. I loved the album when it came out in the 1990s, but do I want to see it as a musical? I don't know. Certainly more than I would want to see Moulin Rouge. The Tonys should have a category this year for best jukebox musical. With the Dylan musical coming up, 'tis the season.

Elmore, The New Yorkers arrives today. Now, when am I going to have time to play it?
