Nicky’s doctor told me that she had a conference to attend today, but that she would call me either this afternoon or this evening.

The drive home yesterday was a nightmare. Nicky was constantly yowling at me, but about half way home, he began letting out this horrible sound that seemed to be half pain and half terror.

He let out this sound five or six times, and then silence. I almost drove into a ditch. I was trying to figure where I could pull over to check his breathing. I thought he had died. Finally, he began to meow again.

I read an interesting thing in this month’s ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. Weekly..... this month? Do you see a problem there?

Anyway, they were talking about Tom Hanks as a likely candidate for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for BEAUTIFUL DAY. And Matthew Rhys is actually the lead actor in the film. I had never heard that before.
