I picked up my newly revised computer glasses today and am trying them out now. It's a little difficult to really test drive them properly as there's a problem with my right eye that the glasses are unable to address. The ophthalmologist must do that. (Long wait for an appointment.) And then the floaters get in the way, too. sigh. But so far text does seem to be clearer and sharper--vice the first pair where there was zero improvement. Call me old-fashioned, but I feel you should be able to see better with new glasses than without them.
As for the blue-light coating, I was wondering if there's a way to tell if the lab even put it on. Yes. Looking in the bathroom mirror I could see a faint blue or violet tinge to the upper part of the lens. I remember when I first had anti-reflective glare coating added to my glasses people would often ask if I was wearing eye shadow. (I never wear eye shadow.) This is similar.
