I got Downtown Abbey: The Movie during a quick trip to the library. It's now playing. It's great seeing all these wonderful people again.

The local drafthouse movie theater is showing Barry Lyndon this week. I saw it at a revival house a few decades ago and loved the scope of it on the big screen. Not my favorite Kubrick, but I'm tempted to see it again.

Downton Abbey has come to an end. What warm feelings. In a peculiar way, it reminds me of the Deadwood movie, which also ended with a dance of life spinning on even as death hovered nearby.

This might sound weird but why do you only have one or a few books on your ereader? I probably have 100.

Since I get most of my books from the library I only buy a few at a time. That way I check if the library has the book before purchasing, it. Sometimes I buy a book if I see it offered at a good price.

I was just about to begin reading one of my Nook books when I received a notification that a library book automatically checked out. Perfect timing. Since the library book, Cemetery Road by Greg Iles, is almost 600 pages I had better read it first.
