I am trying not to be passionate or obsessed about candy these days.  I do like my Café Latté Lollypops from See's.  To avoid eating boxes of the little pops I have been breaking up a sucker & making it last longer.  If I go into the store I am just getting one dark chocolate chocolate cream.  I used to not like the dark chocolate & only loved the milk chocolate one.  I have taught myself to appreciate the dark chocolate, though the inside is still milk chocolate, to avoid refluxing from the candy.

I guess the closest obsession for a dessert is for my Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream.  If I could easily get Baskin Robbins chocolate I would.

I wouldn't actually call these dessert as they are also good first thing in the morning ;)

I love cake, especially chocolate cake, & cookies for dessert but rarely have them.

Back from the five-hour rehearsal. Which really didn’t feel like much more than a regular one.

Thanks to BK for making me learn that the classic song, "Johnny Get Angry," was written by Hal David and Sherman Edwards of 1776 fame. I once heard k.d. lang sing that in concert, and she would whip herself down to the stage floor with her microphone cord while hitting some wild, wild notes. It was a wow.

"Sealed with a Kiss," meanwhile, was written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld of Shenandoah and Purlie fame.

I forgot to mention I enjoyed the photos in the notes today.

Darn.  I forgot, too.  Those were very nice pictures, BK.

Since posting about desserts I have been craving cheesecake,  either mine which I will not be making or the Cheesecake Factory' anniversary cake.

I don't think I've actually had any cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory.  I've eaten there, but I don't think I had dessert. :-\

Is Baskin Robbins only sold in their stores?

I often order it to go, so that I can enjoy it when I am not so full.

The TV and internet service I have now is Rainier Connect.  The internet is the same as always, but the TV service is streaming, rather than cable.

I had to buy Amazon Firesticks, one for each TV, before they could hook it up.

Well, tonight, either the Fire stick died on the bedroom TV, or the batteries died in the remote.

I can turn the TV on and off, but I can no longer change the channels or switch over to Netflix and Amazon Prime.
