The salad bar was wonderful. In addition to the smoked salmon, charcuterie and cheeses, there were all sorts of wonderful salads: hearts of palm with olives and caperberries, artichoke hearts with pimento, roasted red peppers with buffalo mozzarella.

My moment of realization 9f how things would be came when my 2 year put her hand over my mouth when I was singing to her and said “ it’s ok Mama , I’ll sing to you”

Then the meats arrived. I loved the leg of lamb, the various cuts of beef, including one stuffed with mozzarella, a Parmesan-crusted pork loin and sausage. I passed on the chicken. I've eaten enough chicken lately.

Finally got the two-disc set of Fosse Verdon. Sam Rockwell looks like Christopher Guest playing Bob Fosse. I do like Michelle Williams. Her body's too thin, but her take is more successful.

Kelli Barrett as Liza Minnelli was also too thin. When they did the Mein Herr number, I wondered where Minnelli's full-bodied Sally was. Minnelli's costume was so tight, it wanted to bust off her. Barrett's looked like it was a size too large.
