I pulled up the fur on his neck and inserted the needle directly into my finger.

Oh, no!! :o Hopefully, you didn't actually inject yourself with the insulin!

My niece had to give one of her cats saline injections.  It took her awhile, but eventually she did get the hang of it.

The vet i saw today I really liked.  She did tell me that Nick’s vision is really poor.  That is probably the reason why he never leaves the bedroom and the master bath.
