I had to have a bowl of soup tonight because I got so hungry. I had spaghetti for my main meal of the day.

Now, there's a good example of casting "against type."  :D

Well, in this business, if the garbage can costume fits...

...And our flight connects through Dallas too - ?!?!!?  Long travel day.  We leave the hotel at 8:300-ish.  Flight leaves at 10:30, I think.  And then we eventually get into Indy around 4:30.  Rush hour!  Yippee!!

It's already nine???  It really only feels like eight.

I ordered the four Hong Kong musicals.  The next question is, how do you find out what other musical titles they have at hkflix without going through all thirty-six pages of Chinese comedies (where the musicals are kept).

What a slow news day we've had here at haineshisway.com.  This is what happens when people just decide to be errant and truant or worse, come to the site, read the posts and then LEAVE without having posted.  That happened a half-hour ago - we had eight to ten people here, most of whom read and ran.  Skammen.

I ordered three more Hong Kong musicals - Les Belles, The Love Parade, and Hong Kong Nocturne (Hong Kong Rhapsody is the sequel to Nocturne).  These really do sound fascinating.  This might be a whole new discovery.

I watched "Extreme Makeover:  Home Edition" and now I'm watching "Desperate Housewives.  I baked what was left of some frozen peanut butter and chocolate chunk cookie dough for a bake sale tomorrow.  I ate two of them. ::) They're quite good. ;D

At the top of the page is a pull down window that says "Genre"...you can locate "Musicals" there.

Oh, I forgot Hong Kong Nocturne, that one is my friend Dave's favorite...and I think he is sending me the VCD of it...but alas I will have to upgrade to the DVDs, which also have some nifty extras on some of the titles.

Be sure to let me know what you think of the movies when you watch them BK! Especially AIR HOSTESS!!

I just recorded 50 tunes on to my minidisk off of vinyl. I needed a new Springtime mix of material for subway listening. For those with vinyl, the minidisk is a great way to be able to make your vinyl portable. You can put about 320 minutes of music on each disk. Much more with the new Hi-MD machines.

Now it is 1am and I feel cheated because it feels only like midnight. But there's no telling the alarm clock this in the morning.

For those keeping track, the final tune I recorded was "Watch Your Footwork" from the HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE soundtrack.

Not to be confused with this film of the same name, of course!

It feels like 10:17 PM, and it IS 10:17 PM.  The advantages of being one of the few places that doesn't go on daylight savings time.

Rodzinksi, as I was not home much this weekend, I did not get any of your motion picture entertainments viewed, as I had hoped I would  :(

No problem, MBarnum! I might recommend watching them in 1 minute increments spread out over a 100 year period or so!

As for SIN CITY, the violence is outlandish. It is stylized in such an odd way that they could probably get away with more than a regular film. It's one of those movies where you're not pleased to see a lot of kids in the audience.

Sooooooooo, that's how Dennis the Menace was conceived!  I always had my doubts about Mr. Mitchell.

Or maybe the predecessor of AIROTICA from "All That Jazz".

Flying to Indy from Memphis through Dallas?  Hmmmmmmmmm.......

Indianapolis has NO rush hour downtown to speak of.  The traffic congestion is unfortunately, DRJOSE, all in the northern part of town where your hotel is.  BUT - hopefully we will continue the lovely weather.  And since there is only one newspaper in town, you won't have to worry about which Indy rag to buy!
