Krista said she found where it happened.  Mom fell in the bathroom and cut open the back of her head.   She had blood everywhere. Krista said it looked like an amateur cleaned up a crime scene.   The hospital didn't even really try to clean the wound or the blood out of the hair. Krista said it was just a big ball of mess.  Anyway, mom is healthy - at least we know that.  Krista gave her a shower and she sounded good when I talked to her today

Very good news...for the most part.

So, assuming she didn't get covid at the hospital and my brother didn't get it at the hospital, all is well for now

Thanks George, it is good news, actually.  My brother was livid last night when I talked to him, Today he was laughing about it.  And we have a baseline on everything.  She's healthy.  I think part of it is just dealing with grief.  She's lonelier at night than she thought she would be.  After 59 years of marriage, it's a big adjustment.  Her memory is shot right now, but her life has been turned upside down. She's lost a child and a husband in 105 days.  All things considered she's doing fabulously

George, you can still see it on Facebook.  Just go to the Kritzerland Upstairs at Vitello's page and it's archived there.

I just watched it.  Very nice.  Can't wait for Sunday!

I've decided to quit watching the covid numbers. I can't do anything about it. I plan to stay home as much as I can, but the feds are starting court up....actually they haven't stopped.  The chief judge doesn't seem to care that the numbers are spiking.  I will be wearing a mask in court on Friday and taking one for my client (he asked if I would)

Those pieces of wood were from pants hangers with the wires removed.  Anyway, it took me a couple of tries to put up the first light fixture.  I had to take down the first plate and move the whole thing over one inch so that the fixture itself would fit in the alcove.  I did all of that on Sunday.  Today, I put up the second fixture (measuring more carefully) and it all works!  Here's the finished look! :D

Really nice!   Love the photo of your sister and her chicken!

The picture is actually my niece, but thanks, Cillaliz!  She loves the chickens as much as they seem to love her.

I had a Lean Cuisine sweet and sour chicken dinner of 300 calories.  Not gonna win any culinary awards but it wasn't so bad.

But the worst part was, I was supposed to be in an online rehearsal for Mamma Mia! :o I totally missed that!  I e-mailed and apologized, but I haven't heard back from them, yet. :-\

Oops.

Spoo!  Fortunately, the director did e-mail me and said that it's all good.  Whew!!  He said that they "basically met for about 25 minutes and talked about the idea of wanting to create each member's back story...where they came from, what is their relationship with the other islanders. Which of the Dynamos do they know, do they know or are they friendly with Sophie or her friends, or the young men on the island...."

I have work to do tomorrow, but no big deadlines until Tuesday.  So, I'll putter around a little.  I did manage to get the laundry done while I wrote today.  It makes me take breaks that I don't always want to take

Okay.  I've only been in one other show where the director wanted the actors to do homework and create backgrounds for their characters.  I'll confess that that kind of homework doesn't really interest me.  I'm only in the songs and the priest that I play at the end only has three lines, so what the heck kind of background can he or "chorus" have? ::) Most of what I'll be doing will be dictated by the choreography and the lyrics of the song.

I'm watching house hunters or whatever show.  This woman just had the greatest line "well this one has to be at the top of our list...it's the only one we've seen"

well, about time to shuffle off to bed.  Tomorrow is lots of odds and ends I've pushed to the back burner while I worked on these briefs.  I hope to get organized a bit and maybe relax and clean the house

BK, I tend to like Smart Ones better than Lean Cuisine but I haven't been eating either lately. I stock up my work freezer with them for days I don't have time to leave for lunch
