I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep.  Could not fall asleep until around five even though I was in bed at one-thirty.

The guy who's driving him to church called to confirm that he would pick up my dad at 9:00.  He showed up at about 9:00 and off they went.

I am surprised he is going to church.  Are precautions being taken?

I'll be leaving my parents' house fairly soon, and my sister will come over before my dad gets back.  I just have to figure out how to let their cat in without letting in the gray cat that's not theirs. ::)

;D  Friend or foe?  Maybe they gray cat wants to move in?

The rains have stopped for awhile, so Mom and I went for a walk in a nearby park.

The grounds were largely waterlogged, and the stream was high. But the paths were dry, and the walk was pleasant and largely shaded.

Lovely.  Your mother is doing well?  She must be happy to have you home for a nice long visit.  Do you have a quit space to work and have conference calls?

George & TCB I just read a story about American sneaking in over the border to Canada on boats and yachts.  Seems they are boating in from Washington  :-[

I must say that through all of this day, I have been horribly conflicted as to the pronunciation of the day’s topic; i.e., whether I should hear demise as rhyming with “eyes” or, as Quint in Jaws would have it, with “ease”.

My day has been wracked with indecisiveness.

We were out walking and heard a helicopter going back and forth over the river.  From home it looks calm out there, however, we have been told there are lots of police boats out there.

A speeding boat flipped over and ejected two people.  One person swam to shore.

Then having to make a song switch for one of our guests, which will actually work out for the better.

Yes. I have a separate work room.

Then because of the song change I had to write new commentary for that section.

I didn’t know he was a singer. Will have to investigate.

Several telephone conversations and lots of e-mails, then sending out the eBlast about the show and now, finally, I can relax.  Listening to the Robert Schumann cello concerto - wonderful.  Jacqueline de Pre is the soloist.
