THE NEGATIVE VS. POSITIVE SOCIAL MEDIA CONUNDRUM

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were positive about the negativity on social media, and now it is time for you to post until the positive cows come home.

Glad to hear George likes the new order better - sequencing is always about ebb and flow, build, and I just felt that while the original sequencing was okay, it just wasn't quite right.

Today at work is the cut-off for paying invoices.  I have most of them paid, but now all invoices have to be scanned to PDFs.  I've scanned most of them already too, so that helps.  Tomorrow, I'll run the report that the Finance Office uses to write the checks, then there's a break from paying any until the beginning of next month...the never-ending circle of finance. ;)

I'll be listening to the Sandy Bainum tracks again at work while I'm invoicing. :) And now, to bed.

Have a good day, all!

Last night I watched the Prologue and Act one of the Paris Opera Ballet production of The Sleeping Beauty with choreography by Rudolf Nureyev "after Petipa." Much of it was quite lovely, but in the Prologue's long introduction of ther fairies and their courts, Rudy's changes weren't happier alternatives to Petipa's original work.  The dancers were good and the designs were terrific.  The Princess Aurora, Aurélie Dupont, is quite wonderful, and Tchaikovsky's score is so stunning.  The Paris Opera orchestra plays it beautifully.

The cats are in fine fettle this morning.  All three are running, jumping, colliding, and falling.  Annabelle seems happy and healthy this morning and she's jumping all over everything, and Stella and Thatch are playing right along with her.  They've knocked something over with a crash that needs investigation; I suspect it's a pile of books.

Kellyanne Conway is leaving the White House and her husband is leaving the Lincoln Project.  He will be missed, but I fear Mrs Conway's replacement will be even worse than she is. Hopefully, it's only for the next four months.

And tonight the little Trump Tugboat of Fools launches.  I hope it sinks and no one is saved.

Until that debacle, I have my usual morning chores, and I need to make a trek to the post office and pharmacy before the rains land.

T.O.D.

People are posting negative things because they are stuck in the house, and have nothing better to do.

Most of us have never experienced anything like this.

Even after this is over, our world will never be the same.

I called the pharmacy and my prescriptions are not yet ready.  I'll go tomorrow.  One prescription has been replaced with another brand that will cost me $150. I told them to cancel it.

At some point today I have a long phone meeting with my Assassins MD about the general plan, logistics, keyboard patches, all that good stuff.

And at some much later point today I'll take the trash and the recycling down to the road.

Isn't it exciting, just contemplating that?

TOD:

I get tired of reading negative posts.  Of course things are bad, but hopefully they will get better.

One friend in my area writes endless posts about local businesses and who is wearing a mask and who isn't and spends much of his time confronting folks who are not wearing masks.

I have begun to skip his Facebook posts....on that subject....

I don't know if case numbers are going up or down....it depends on what and where you read - and who knows who is accurate?  I do know that folks are still being infected and folks are dying.  That is reason enough to be cautious, but not contentious.

George, I had the pie crusts out of the refrigerator for at least 90 minutes before I got around to using them. The flavor is OK. I think I like Pillsbury a little better.
