Partridge events sound great.

But no Susan Dey?

TOD

Too many to name. Hell, too many to even remember.
Hare are a few, with thanks to others for reminding me of some of them, old and new:

I Love Lucy
Honeymooners
Ozzie and Harriet
Donna Reed Show
Leave It To Beaver
Father Knows Best
Make Room for Daddy
My Three Sons
The Partridge Family
Addams Family
The Munsters
Andy Griffith Show
All in the Family
Married...With Children

(I have no shame.)

Which reminds me:  Shameless

I love these contemporary ones, too, even if they aren't sitcoms.
But they're about family, damn it. :)

Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Big Love

And how about some animation?

Family Guy
American Dad
Bob's Burgers

Well, there you have it, my illustrious contributions for the day.

Maybe somebody else will post and help us out of this mess.

Last night I followed BK's recent example and pulled out the Presumed Innocent / Frantic disc. I had seen the former only once, back when I got that Blu-ray, so I watched it straight through and hugely enjoyed it. Yeah, that cast really makes it. I had completely forgotten about Raul Julia's role in it. It's really wonderful.

Then, since it was late and I'm much more familiar with it (even though I hadn't watched this one either since I got that disc), I flipped through a few scenes of Frantic. We'll be watching it soon, anyway, so I didn't want to gorge on it. But this transfer, in particular, is FROM HUNGER. And I don't even like that expression. So how about this one:  This transfer, in particular, SUCKS.

There, that's better. Man, it's horrible. And this is from Warner. How many of these cheap-ass double feature things did they put out, anyway? I believe it's the only one I have, or even know about.

Next I think I'll follow another such example and pull out Black Widow. That will be especially enjoyable since the only time I've seen that one is when I got that disc, and right now I remember hardly anything of it.

I'm up, I'm up - about four-and-a-half hours of sleep and a fun movie-type dream that I don't think I figured in much.

The only other Warner double bill I had is Kelly's Heroes and another movie, can't remember which, maybe Where Eagles Dare?

Re Rick Seagall - everyone seemed to like him.  I think there's been a bit of revisionist history because he certainly was not liked back then and he and David Bursky, the other new regular, were pretty much blamed for the show's demise, not that it was their fault.  But he's now a handsome guy and apparently talented on popular on YouTube for something.

We all felt bad for Brian Forster who never got three words out and was absent for most of it.  It's on Facebook, I think, and some YouTube channel.  I'll try to find a link.

My son, David, was over yesterday for his birthday celebration.

Nice afternoon.

Great cake.

I wish he hadn't taken the rest of it home with him.

 :-\

I guess he liked the cake-lol

Mom isn't feeling too well this morning. I think she tries to do too much. She's laying down for a nap.

I hope she wakes up from the nap refreshed and feeling better.

Is Leonard holding something white, or are those his chest markings?

He's holding a crumpled piece of paper. He is all black, except for about 15 white hairs.

MR BK's WB Double feature mention reminds me that TCM has a double feature of two of my favorite movies today starting at 5:15 p.m. EDST.....

Where Eagles Dare followed by The Red Shoes......

I liked MY THREE SONS when Mike, Robbie, and Chip were the sons and Bub was around.....then Ernie came along, and he was okay.....but I never did like Uncle Charley (William Demarest)....he was just cranky with no redeeming qualities - and his red hairpiece plopped on his head was ridiculous.....then they brought on the cringe-worthy Beverly Garland as a new wife with Dodie as her daughter......UGH......

And I also hated it when Fred MacMurray played his Scottish cousin......

But I did like The Danny Thomas Show/Make Room for Daddy....it was always irritating to me when Marjorie Lord would think what she said was SO FUNNY that she would have to press her lips together to keep herself from laughing.....Deb Messing does the same thing.....

And the last couple of seasons of the original run produced by Thomas after Sheldon Leonard left were pretty grim.....topped off by Sid Melton and Pat Carroll as the Halpers......

Interesting about Ricky Segall but that is really revisionist if he's not being given flack......not his fault, I agree.....but obvious.

I read on his IMDB page that he directed and starred in a production of HAMLET......I am sure it was......something.......

Oh I had Mr. Segall's qv. wrong:

Some of Mr. Segall's favorite parts have been the roles of Fagin in "Oliver", Tevye in "Fiddler On The Roof", Claudius in "Hamlet" (which he also directed) and "Saint John In Exile": a one-person play originated by Dean Jones (Mr. Segall is the only other actor Mr. Jones has ever allowed to do the show).

Back from some matzoh brei at Jerry's Deli - I managed to kill ninety minutes there.  Then to the mail place to pick up no mail, then home just as she of the Evil Eye was leaving.  I pulled a few Blu-rays off the shelf for this weekend's viewing.
