Happy Birthday (for a few more minutes) to DR Laura’s grandson.

I have to keep telling myself that Sasha is basically still a kitten.

She was sitting on my stomach, purring loudly and licking my nose; when she decided to bite my nose instead.

My first thought was to spank her nose, but instead I smiled and said I loved her.

Listened to a short Jack London novel called The Scarlet Plague today. It was set about 50 years from now, 60 years after a plague wiped out civilization. It may have been the scariest of all the pandemic novels I've picked up this year, because when the virus hits, the yahoos know they're going to die, so they plan on taking out everyone else they can and destroy everything they can. It's too close to the mask-less attitude for comfort.

Yikes!  The three-part Justar Journal that I finished not too long ago was set 90 years in the future, after a pandemic took out five billion people and left only three billion.  The trilogy isn't about that per se, but it's talked about during the books.

Mini eaten - very good.  Listening to John Veale's second symphony - like the best movie music you never heard.  I love this guy.  Definite CD of his music coming from us in the future.

That's great!

It sounds too close for comfort.  Since it is Jack London and the library has it, I just checked it out.

My library has two different e-book editions.  I just downloaded both and will compare.  One has illustrations, so we'll see what they're like.

I think I have that option.  Please let me know if I should switch.

I didn't realize it when I checked them out, but they're both epub versions, not Kindle versions. :-\ I'll have to download them to my tablet and then I'll be able to see what they're like.

I'll put them on my new tablet because that has a lot more memory than my other tablets.

I've never downloaded it only any device, mostly because my earlier tablets didn't have a lot of room, but this new one does.
