THE TEST

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a test, and now it is time for you to post until the tested cows come home - they, of course, were tested for Cowvid.

The answer to George’s question:

No.

Did anyone else watch the Lea Salonga concert from Sydney?

The answer to George’s question:

No.

I recorded it and spot-checked it when I got home, but it's also a pledge drive, but according to PBS' website, the whole program is just under an hour, so hopefully, the whole concert was actually broadcast.

I, too, would rather be anywhere but shopping on Black Friday.

The cats and I had a nice day staying inside and disregarding all thoughts of Black Friday.

I slept rather well and I remember no dreams at all. Annabelle and Thatch joined me sometime after 3:00 to get warm, and Stella seems to prefer being my alarm clock.  She has a knack lately for pestering me about 15 minutes before the alarm is set to ring.

Never a big fan of Eddie Murphy, though 48 HOURS was fun.

Kitty cleanup is finished.  I keep all the cats' treats in a plastic washtub by the cat tree.  Annabelle, who is treat-mad, spends her time hanging around and sniffing that washtub reminds me of a little kid around a Christmas tree on Dec. 23.

I saw this on CNN and wondered if it might impact bk's shooting schedule:

All public and private gatherings with people outside a single household will be prohibited for three weeks in Los Angeles County starting Monday to curb an unprecedented spread of coronavirus, the Department of Public Health announced in a news release.

Shadow of a Doubt was on last night - and since I enjoyed the discussion here last week, I watched it again.  It is a most excellent movie and Teresa Wright is wonderful.

I looked on Wikipedia to read about it and made the mistake of clicking on the link to read about the case that inspired the story....ugh.....

I also wonder about the credit:

We thank Thornton Wilder for his contribution.....etc etc etc.....in addition to his screen writing credit.....nobody seems to have discussed this credit.....so there you are.

I'm guessing he gave them guidance on small town America.....

I was just reminded this morning (by rummaging through the fridge) that on my shopping trip for Thanksgiving supplies I picked up a package of hot dogs, buns, and a can of chili. Onions and cheese were already here. So...guess what I'll be having one of these days soon? Maybe even today, depending on when we do the tree thing, or if we do it tomorrow instead.

Of course I feel it is my duty to point out that there are still plenty of turkey dinner leftovers. I had an entire plate of it last night, and as always with T-Day leftovers, it was wonderful. I hope I still fit into my jeans today.

TOD

I loved TRADING PLACES and the original BEVERLY HILLS COP back in the day. I don't remember enough about 48 HRS. and should probably see it again.

Then I hated his horrible NUTTY PROFESSOR remake, and had no interest in DOCTOR DOLITTLE. I enjoyed THE HAUNTED MANSION, and his Donkey in SHREK is fine but I have yet to see any of the SHREK sequels.

I haven't seen DOLEMITE, but I will get to it eventually.
