Today, I'm going to visit my friend Margo and meet (in person...or dogson) her new dog, Veronica Mars. Margo had said that if I'm planning on going to Costco anyway, she would greatly appreciate it if I could pick up three things for her. It's essentially on my way, so as long as they have the three items in stock, I'll get them. After that (if it's early enough), I'll go back to my sister's and help her put up some outside Christmas lights. Then, I'll come back home for the day.

Yup. That'll be her official name. Margo said that she's calling the dog just "V" for short.

I saw the story but not the interview. Sadly it isn't uncommon. It seems worse when treating someone also puts your health at risk.

I slept well until around 4:00, when Stella's excessive romping began, a combination of racing over my bed, checking on me, lying down with me for a moment before running off to play with Thatch. I didn't much sleep for those two hours, but I did have a dream about packing up a hotel room/apartment/college room/God alone knows what.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that two-syllable names were best for pets. I'm really unclear now if I really read that, and why that would be.

My dream was one of starting to play a show being staged in what seemed like a restaurant where I was in a room adjacent to where the thing was happening and I couldn’t see anything or anyone in it. It might have been just me playing, but I’m not sure about that. There were two keyboards and I tried moving from one to the other for a better vantage point, but they weren’t set up or equipped equally and I didn’t know which was the better one to use. I had stopped paying attention for a moment, and suddenly had no idea if a cue line had gone by and whether the cast was waiting for me out there because things were suddenly awfully quiet. I asked people around me for help on where they were in the dialogue, but no one responded adequately and, waking up, I could only assume that it all went to hell right there.
