DR CHAS SMITH, I have a projector but I haven't tried it out.....perhaps this summer.....

I am sure my neighbors would be impressed and pleased to have Allison roaming around hollering for Harry.....

Just a little something I whipped up in my spare time...

Nice detail on the worker. He looks particularly real.

Good Morning.  2 1/2 days of school today.  Both ending with a 15 minute sing-a-long in the parking lot of Christmas Carols requested by the pastor - that I have to lead.  I tried to get out of it.  So, I have the accordion here, I hope I remember how to play it - or at least fake my way through.

Good luck.

I finished making the bed around 12:30, and I had a nice phone conversation with Joshie.  While I was putting the comforter on the bed and trying to smooth it out, there was a huge lump. It was Thatch exploring a cave.  He's now buried under the kitty quilt.  Seems quite content.

Evidently, it's three scripts bound in one book.  Here's the title page of the next book:

Very nice, DR George.

And how does it smell?  :)

Fortunately, it just has an old book smell, not really musty at all, and certainly not a moldy smell!

DR George, I believe that edition of The Beggar's Opera may be the first to include the music for the songs.

My last show in May, 1979, I directed for the company I started in Middletown, Ohio was Benjamin Britten's version of The Beggar's Opera. DR Ginny was my assistant.

Nice pictures, Elmore!

That's a nice book.

Sometimes putting an old book in a box with a lot of crinkled up newspapers for awhile gets rid of any "old" odor........or so said Dear Heloise many years ago.

I can certainly try that, Jrand, but first I would have to find some newspaper. ::)

I knew Ewing as a student in school and might have accompanied a few of her voice lessons with Steber. I need to dig through some programs to see what she sang with us. I know I have her singing Geschwitz on a private recording of the Lulu Suite in which I’m playing piano in the orchestra.

That's really cool, ChasSmith!  The closest I got to professional opera talent was when I was going to Western Washington University, and I had a couple of classes with Heidi Lynn Grant, who went on to win the Met auditions, eventually married her accompanist and became Heidi Grant Murphy.  And then got to sing with Renée Fleming and Anne Sofie von Otter. :)

Well......the 55" TCL was $20 less than the Vizio 50"......so I bought the TCL.....looks nice so far.

Took about 30 minutes to set it all up, but it is going along like gangbusters.

I also bought the 3-year plan and just spent the additional $20.....

Congrats on the new 55" purchase, Jrand!

Since I had some spare time left over after making the train out of snow, I made this 25-foot tree out of pink flamingo lawn ornaments.

I'll forward Singdaw's post to the Group Rep - I couldn't get in either - wrong password sent, but they fixed it right away - but apparently you never even got that far.
