Well, you've read the notes, the notes were halfway home, and now it is time for you to post until the halfway home cows come home.

Good night, BK and Jane.  I'm now going to continue to watch One Man, Two Guvnors.  So far, I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Have a good day, all!

It was too warm for sleep last night, so I turned all the blankets down and ended up sleeping under a sheet.  This was fine until some time after 3:00 the temperature fell quite suddenly and it was really chilly in the apartment.

I have no plans today.   I just want to lie around with the cats and do little.  I need to inventory my canned goods today or tomorrow and see what I need.

I woke this morning thinking about a movie I had loved as a child, Good-bye, My Lady, with Walter Brennan and Brandon de Wilde.  I'm blaming last night's Midsomer Murders episode "The Green Man" for rustling this up from my subconscious, but now I want to see the movie again.

Jessie Buckley was great in a movie called Wild Rose about a singer with two kids learning about priorities.

This has been the most bizarre week -- for many reasons, not just the obvious earthshaking national ones. Last Sunday and Monday almost seem like three weeks ago. I'm just glad we're where we are now.

I have a few organizational projects in mind for today, just fun stuff I like to do around the house. But I'd also very much appreciate if it could see its way to being a sitting on the couch like so much fish kind of day. Yes, I'd like that very much.

This morning I tackled several small tasks that I had been putting off for far too long.

We have been watching Cynthia Nixon as Emily Dickinson in A Quiet Passion.

I agree with you. And I would like a little rest before the trip home. But I don't think I'll get it.

No. But he prefers the drive all at once. I hope I can do that on the way home.

Tuesday. Not a great time to do it, considering work. But I have things back home I need to attend to.

A friend told me yesterday that even though I got an extension on my U.S. post office mail hold, the mail man delivered the mail anyway. All piled up by the mail box, except for what could be stuffed in there. Such irresponsibility.
