then we met a friend of Mom's, someone who's been very good to her and was with her and Dad when he died. We had a socially distanced lunch at her house.

I made meatloaf for Mom one last time.

While the meatloaf was cooking and the beets were boiling away, I peels and diced a potato and chopped up a parsnip that had been left over. They would be mashed later.

After dinner, Mom and I watched some of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which wasn't all that winning. Zachary Quinto is an idiot.
