T.O.D.
Years ago, I saw an Equity Waiver production in Hollywood of THE DESPERATE HOURS, a play I'd seen as a kid with the Road Company in Seattle. I've also seen the move many times.
Don Dubbins played the father in the Waiver production, and in the climatic scene where he confronts the lead convict (Humphrey Bogart in the movie), he did not have a gun.
Another actor had, accidentally, taken it off-stage with him.
So, now Dubbins had to face the lead convict and ask him to "please, leave my house".
It played okay, but knowing the show, I felt so sorry for Dubbins, the actor.
