Yesterday my brother brought over the disks from his wife that she wanted pictures taken from.....

There were 14 CD's AND another 12 floppy disks.

All the photos are now in their own folders and on a flash drive.....it wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming.

Following in DR elmore3003's footsteps...

Dusting (the detested part) has concluded. Vacuuming to follow.

Then a walk, haircuts (homemade), and soup-making (also homemade). Not necessarily in that order.

Starting to watch Bernard Tavernier's A Sunday in the Country. All of his films are so different from each other. And i love them all.

When my older Kindle was charged up enough, I found that I was on chapter 4 of a book, and not only do I not remember what's happened up to this point, I didn't even remember that I was in the middle of a book on that Kindle

My guess is that you were happy to forget about it ;)

Looking forward to the digital release of Supernova, with Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth, on 2/16.

It took me nearly an hour and a half to move the furniture around and vacuum.  When it was done, I was done in so I had a nap with the cats.

Yes.  It got better in the later episodes.  I still don't know if I want to watch the second season.

God, do I hate Amazon Fresh. I can't place an order since there are no delivery times available. WTF?

Is there an Amazon No-So-Fresh? For day-old baked goods and the like, of course.

And I am sorry for your problem, Elmore.

I used Amazon Fresh early yesterday morning and had my groceries within an hour and a quarter.

I went to place a supplementary order this morning and the only delivery spot available was between 6 and 7PM this evening.

I am sure that weekends are their most busy time.

It's snowing in the DC area.   Not too much, just enough to make the trees look pretty.

Well, I'm glad.  The fucking order site will not let me see beyond Tuesday, Feb. 2, and there are no time slots available, so I can't even check if Wednesday or Thursday have possible delivery dates.  It's irritating and irresponsible.
