What do you do if the director doesn't know anything?

Send it into the store after the dumplings.

My first exposure to FIRST NUDIE was on the Showtime Channel back around 1987 or so. Late night, they would play an odd assortment of softcore stuff like GOODBYE EMMANUEL, which I would enjoy, provided my dad hadn't fallen asleep in the room (Okay, sometimes even if he had). I never caught the whole movie, though the song "Lesbian-Butch-Dyke" always stayed with me. Then a few years ago, a pal of mine is raving about a film called SPACESHIP, simulatneously, I was enjoying the Danny Peary Cult Movies Books. Hey, this same guy directed both. My pal brought SPACESHIP over, we rented NUDIE and had a heck of a time laughing at both.
Kudos BK!

Hey, can anyone get a translation of that Russian page???  It's a five-star review - I'd love to know what it says.  And boy, those screen caps look really great.

Waiting on our trivia answer so I can move on to the next question.

If you go to AltaVista's Babel Fish Translation Page, you can enter a foreign language website address and it'll translate the whole page!  They have many languages to choose from!  And you can translate into English or from English!

I love that review!  Here is my pull quote:

MERRY AND FERVID, WITH AN ENORMOUS QUANTITY OF OBNAZHENK!

Will this be a blurb on the back of the 30th anniversary DVD release?? ;)

The fact that Corey Clark has said he will not cooperate with Fox to help them investigate his claims makes me have suspicions about ALL of its truth. As I said before, there was obviously something going on there that shouldn't have been, but I also am not about to take everything HE says as gospel. I get a complete feeling of desperation from him in doing this hoping to cash in on whatever infamy he can generate.

Like others, I am not sure that any of this actually creates a problem for a show like AMERICAN IDOL.

Well, you've read the notes, you know all the things we're celebrating on this celebratory day, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home, which might just be thirty years from today.

If it is another thirty years before those cows come home, they will be udderly tired.

At first there showed sufficiently inoffensive on the the present of merkam.Proposing the concept:) films with a large quantity of exposed "actresses" and the simulation of sexual reports, but nearer to the eightieth people was already "radiated" so, that into the rental went valuable hardcore-porno. Softcore'nye the films of the beginning of the seventieth were often characterized by the madly wild names (type "I it ended to the bus";)) and by the cheapness of the production, when as the commonplace it was considered not to stop the working camera, even if "actor" turns himself to the director for the council - dispatch all these moments without any installation into the finished film, since retake or serious assembly period cost money, but why to expend the money, when people then brings down to look to naked telesa of starletok (but "subject" and the quality of "game" this public clearly they do not interest). After being seen enough similar "masterpieces", young and talented akter/kompozitor/stsenarist Bruce kimmel it planned to make a parody to this cinema, after removing "porno- musical". It described about this idea to some its friends, who immediately arrived into the ecstasy and they began together with it to work at "Cool" director the the:)realizatsiyey of project. In the course of preparatory period, however, the concept of film gradually evolved, and instead of the real "softporno- musical" the authors decided to make "film about the film", "obstebav" not only genre porno, but also low-budgetary cinema together with the pathos-arousing brodveyskimi musicals:) The young owner of small paternal motion picture studio, Garry shekter, is located on the face of crash. His last pictures did not enjoy success, money he does not have, but investors press and is established condition - "either you bring to us gold-bearing idea or we for the debts select in you studio and is constructed at her place large commercial center".

My list is never done. I search under every nook and cranny for the Crazy fun films to watch. GUMNAAM and INVASION! will get their day soon. INVASION is slated for my next meeting with Elmore. Wheeler and Woolsey are to blame for my recent back-up. That and not enough fiber.

I have SHOCK TREATMENT soundtrack only on LP. Look what I did to my Id!

Joel Blum it is (Tony nominee for Showboat, I believe, plus he was in 42nd Street forever, as well as And the World Goes Round).  Send address, Rodzinski.

Next trivia question: One of the Nudie dancers went on to have a prominent dancing role in one of the highest grossing movie musicals ever made.  Who was it?
