I went to church today, too. In Santa Clarita, near Magic Mountain. That's where we rehearsed, since our pianist belongs to the church. Frankly, it's more like a theater than a church.

I went to Mass today with Laurie. There was a small kid in the back near us screaming, “I don’t want to stay here. I want to go home now!”

Then we went for a walk along a bike trail that goes over a scenic stretch of the Des Moines River.

After that it was Texas-style barbecue and beer. The barbecue wasn’t entirely successful. But the beer was.
