We had a Chinese-ish meal tonight.  Spicy pork and pineapple, with bean sprouts and ginger.  Chicken and mushrooms, with onions and water chestnuts.  Rice with bacon.  All quite flavorful, and filling.  Improvised, but sometimes that's what works best.

And preparing it all didn't distract me too much from Lost.

Back to ALIAS. I didn't think the suspense was squeezed to the max at all on the doomsday scenario. Certainly there were a couple of good moments, but on the whole, not a season finale on par for Season 1 or 2. The ending was a great tease, however.

Good Evening!

As for "American Idol" - I heard the announcement on the radio on the way home from the show...

*Although, I'm guessing DR Ron Pulliam was commenting earlier.

I tried to find pics of me from the 70s, but thankfully they must be well hidden away, cause I couldn't locate any at all!

A new Anne joined us tonight at LA CAGE, one week and a day before we open. Thankfully, she's a musical theater major with a good background in acting and dance, both of which are needed for this rather small part.

...And I really need to stop sleeping in just because I can.  I was basically in a low-energy mode all day today, and once I sat down in the pit tonight, I started having a major case of the "drowsies".  And that's saying something if you know how loud the sound guys run the show!

I was supposed to be productive during my days...  Hmmm...  Maybe tomorrow...

But tomorrow, we're all going to the Noon matinee of Big River at Ford's Theatre.

So how about Friday?

Well, Friday I have to drive down to Richmond and back.  I need to take care of some banking, pick up some stray mail.... And, most importantly, it's Steve's birthday, and I need to drop off something for him at work. :)

Then Saturday and Sunday are two show days...  Monday is Memorial Day, and that's a holiday, so...

Hmmm....

Congrats on your recording succes BK!

I was sort of catching up on some past columns and postings I hadn't gotten around to reading. I am heading to camp in 3 days and I have absolutely no idea how I am going to catch up on everything I miss this summer! I am thinking about making a trip to New York in early August though...

I really have no fashion troubles. I go with a little bit trendy but I avoid all this cutting edge stuff. I don't understand some of the things that are popular today. It's almost as if we are moving back into the 70s!

Well, I'm gonna attempt to hit the hay, hit the sack, etc. - not that the hay or the sack ever did anything to deserve to be hit... In any case...

It looks like tomorrow may end up being a longer day than expected, so I'll need my beauty sleep...

Off to the land of the Wussburgers I go...

Goodnight.

AOL will not connect to the Internet.  We can get mail and stuff, but not browse.  I'm using Safari now.  I will be having a chat with AOL on the 'morrow, and if I don't get some satisfaction for their inept and unacceptable service, then I'm afraid it's over for AOL and I'll have to start going through the awfulness of trying to get everyone a change of e-mail address.

It seems as though Mr Guy Haines has also been shopping at Armani Wells.   8)

DR DANISE - I am not IN OLIVER! - but I am doing the makeup design so I have to take a look at the HUGE cast.  Hopefully we have enough makeup to go around!  :P

Here is DR RODZINSKI slightly smaller and enhanced so-to-speak.  So now we will have two.  He is the CERTS of HHW today.  ;D

Great news about ADAM-12 and DRAGNET.  Maybe when I get my job....if I get a job....I can once again buy DVD's the way I used to..... *sigh*

I still remember a skit that Martin and Kent did on LAUGH-IN once....they often were featured in little in-betweens.....they were in their car dressed in their uniforms....Martin driving along.....a pause....Kent looks at Martin.....Martin looks at Kent....

Kent:  So how long have we been together?

Martin:  About five years.

Kent:  Yup.  About five years.

Martin:  Yup.

Kent:  So what do you say....don't you think it's about time?

Martin:  Yup.

Kent:  So do you want to?

Martin:  If you want to.  Do you want to?

Kent:  Yes, I do.

Martin: (stops the car and looks at Kent) All right.  You can drive.

I do believe I shall post the new notes in fifteen minutes, one hour early.  That way, I can get plenty of sleep, for I can barely keep my eyes open.

Okay, what happened in the ocean at the end of "Lost"?? :o What was that all about??  Talk about a cliff-hanger!  And why would Locke not stop (what he was doing) when Hugo (a.k.a. Hurley) started yelling for him to stop (what he was doing)?
