It's my Christmas present to myself.

I finished my Italian comedy. Starting Free Guy, which just came in today at the library. But I'm not getting too interested.

I did make a Costco run today where I picked up a copy of Paul McCartney's The Lyrics, which they had for 40% off.

What a coinkydink!  I just got home from Costco, but I bought some Meconi's gift cards. :) $50 worth for only $40.

Back from our rehearsal. This play was harder to deal with than Doug's, which was actually pretty simple and which is a bit shorter in its run time. This one has about six songs and I'm going to ask him to make some cuts in act one and act two's big last scene in a courtroom, because it just goes on forever. But - I got everything staged in two hours and forty minutes. A lot of it is sitting or standing, but there are some bigger scenes the needed stuff, and I gave some simple but fun ography for a few of the numbers. So, if the actors can get really tight on the script I think we'll be okay. I don't have a full company on Saturday, unfortunately, but we do have everyone on Sunday and that's a three-hour rehearsal that can go four if necessary. I have one actor playing a lead who's foreign and a bit hard to understand and who mis-accents things, but he's gonna work hard over the next three days.

She has only seen the movie version of Into the Woods and I told her that I have the laserdisc release of the original Broadway production, and that the movie version made changes from the stage version.

I told her that I could make a DVD copy of the laserdisc, so that's what I'm doing...recording the laserdisc to my DVD burner. :)

I hadn't actually watched this laserdisc when I got it from eBay, and watching it now, I'm sorry I took so long!

It's definitely not hi-def, but it'll make a great burned DVD. :)

I made a fried egg sandwich - I thought I was out of eggs but I have a full carton of them - who knew? I also had a donut from Yum Yum Donuts, which is on the way home. It was okay.

Did any of you see the crowd that showed up in Dealey Plaza to see the return of JFK Jr., who never died.  There were many signs calling for a Trump/Kennedy ticket in 2024!
