I have not seen a June Kenney movie, but TEENAGE DOLL is my favorite poster. If you cover up the bottom of the poster from her left breast downward, her exposed shoulder looks like an exposed breast. Try it and see!

You're quite right, DR Ann, no ice cream truck for us as kids. There is a little one there now, incessantly playing "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf," though.

We didn't get the novelty ice cream stuff much, but when we did I was always an ice cream sandwich fan. Occasionally, Grandma would have some Fudgesicles... yum.

Ok, enough digesting.

June was best known for her sci-fi films, including this Bert I. Gordon spectacular (and one of my all time favorites) THE SPIDER (a.k.a EARTH VS THE SPIDER).

June and her boyfriend get trapped in a cave inhabited by a gigantic tarantula...eventually the big creature destroys the town and eats a few people.

June comes through unscathed, but she is a bit dirty and mussed up by the finale.

ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE is the holy grail of JUNE KENNEY movies, and it has been my #1 all time favorite film ever since I saw it on TV for the first time in 1972!

All who know me know of this film.

This is a teenage version of The Most Dangerous Game, as June, her boyfiend Robert "Brady Bunch dad" Reed, and and their friends get stranded on an island and are literally hunted like dogs!

I spent the afternoon cleaning my closet in order to pass the time, and threw away two garbage bags full of OLD sweaters and summer shorts I will never wear again. Then ALL my shoes fit on the shelves, so now I can see the floor of the closet!

Time well spent.

I am off the clean the theatre and work the box office for OLIVER!

June Kenney? I love ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE of course, especially the song - recorded on Mr BK's CD Jeepers Creepers.

BUT my favorite June movie is TEEN AGE DOLL....I will try Rodzinkski's trick with the poster in a minute.

My favorite June Kenney fantasy is the series of pictures of June out somewhere with Bob Crewe - and she is thinking it's a real date.

June Kenney's last film is a nifty little crime thriller from 1961 titled THE CAT BURGLAR, co-starring Jack Hogan.

Jack cat burglar's June apartment and inadvertently steals papers that a mob is looking for. June get's herself in trouble when she falls in love with the thief. However she keeps her virginity in tact in this film.

Another favorite film is VIKING WOMEN AND THE SEA SERPENT (1957). Another one by Roger Corman.

Poor June was injured during the making of this film and her role is taken over by the sister of the films star Abby Dalton. Corman tried to keep Abby's sister in the background, or standing in back of people so the the audience wouldn't know it was a different actress...but since she is about a foot taller the June, it was quite obvious!

But June is very adorable in her little (and I mean little) Viking woman outfit in the scenes that she did film before getting hurt.
