Another Grammy note:

Gaga and Tony Bennett got some love for Love for Sale.

I consider Cole Porter part of that magic.

DR JOHN's post reminded me....back in the day when the dance studio was on the square in Greencastle it was next to a men's clothing store called Ric's!

And about twice a year there would be a sign in the window that said:

Ric's Pants Half Off!

Well today I was asked to serve as executor of my uncle's estate with my sister.....so Monday at 2 p.m. we are going to the lawyer for a meeting.

It's a thankless tedious job, but I am not going to leave my sister alone with it - our cousin backed out....so there you are.

Back from picking up packages - Xmas cards are here (early for the first time ever) - one screener (Tick...Tick...Boom) and one other movie from Ghibli, one I haven't seen - When Marnie Was Here.

Waiting impatiently in line at the At home store. Picking up something I should have bought the other day.

I liked Girl from the North Country. It may be the only one I have heard.

I've only heard ALW's Cinderella, and I do like it.

My brother Randy just called. My mother's oldest brother, last survivor of her six siblings, has died. He was a shit, who took his time traveling back to Ohio when his son was dying from leukemia and did nothing when his last living sister, my mother, died. His second wife was as nasty a piece of work as Lady Macbeth, and she treated her stepchildren terribly. When Randy told me he was dead, all I saiud was "Good." There was a pause and Randy started laughing. Then he said, I guess I wanted toi say that, too.

Hope your nausea goes away and quickly, BK!

Ditto.

I ate breakfast and, as usual, am nauseated.

Jane, have you tried drinking a small glass of alkaline water about 20-30 minutes before eating? I'm a big fan of it and it's available at many grocery stores. It's such an easy way to deal with gut issues.

Or Arsenicum Album 30C as needed. Excellent for nausea, but once you have it. I doubt that it'll work preventatively.

Vibes you find a solution.

TOD:

If you narrow that down to CHRISTMAS CDs then it's no contest: THIS CHRISTMAS. I'm not a big Christmas person and don't normally listen to much Christmas music, but I've listened to this CD a lot.

Other, non-holiday, CDs would include Liz Callaway's CD that Bruce produced. There are others, but they're not coming to mind just now.
