I do go to that new Taco Bell every once in a while because it's not too far from my mom's house and I do love Taco Bell. :)

George & Tom I don't remember booths there.

Well, I'd only been there a couple of times, so I don't remember much of it at all.

I googled and found photos of the restaurant, including the booths.  It also said permanently closed :(

I remember when it closed.  It was the end of an era.  There was a big article in the local paper about how Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell were moving in to the space. ::)

What a shame.

Chick-fil-A came in first and had drive-thru lines that lasted as long as a half hour!  I only went there twice to try it out...and only when the line was very short.  I don't go there because I don't think they're anything special...and their anti-gay stance. :P

I have never eaten at one and will attempt never to do so.

What was the place we ate in Redmond WA in June 2018?  It was in the same mall as the theater.

I don't remember.  I'd never been there before, nor have I been back since. :-\

Didn't Pete Buttigieg make a statement that they have bad politics but good chicken, suggesting he ate there?

Hearing how Sondheim was scared by his mom even being in the phone could make you wonder: would you have wanted all the acclaim, great canon of work, great legacy, great wealth - if it necessarily came along with, and maybe even were shaped by, a mom who felt that way?

With the police violence that happened last September in Miami, one thing I am grateful that was caught on the officer bodycam

my dad at 100 at 17:30 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRrjcb6JyMQ

SHOVING THE SERGEANT OUT THE DOOR.

And there is the helper who law enforcement lied had a fractured shoulder 8:30 that morning - at noon there 3-1/2 hours later that amazing trick shoulder is nowhere to be seen [I guess that's one of the tricks the shoulder does]
SAYING OVER AND OVER LIKE A CLASSIC FILM VILLAIN "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING."

But at least I see Dad, two days after his 100th birthday)  trying to fight for me!  If the fake charges hadn't been there, we would never have bothered securing and getting  the bodycams, and I never would have seen that!

Back from dinner.

It was quite wonderful. And it was a nice time with friends.

They invited me to Christmas dinner, and I just might take them up on the offer.

But since we made it to page eight(!), it's not as horrible a situation as it normally would've been...in my humble opinion (IMHO, in Internet speak).

Thank you to the internet and quick access to my medical tests.

Though I feared I had it, I do not have the family curse.  NO CANCER!

A couple of other, non-urgent, things showed up that might be adding to my increased pain.

Wonderful news, Jane.
