I could use a brother like you, George. The lights are very pretty.

I used to put up lights. Then one year I got them all up and one bulb was dead, so none of them worked. I couldn't find the dead bulb, so I pulled them all off and threw them away. Now I just put out a wreath.

It got scary climbing the ladder, anyway. Now I wouldn't dream of climbing a ladder.

Yup!  My parents and my sister have experienced the same thing.

I went for a covid test, even though I'm sure all I have is a cold. But we'll see in a couple of days.

I also got my mail off, the cards to Germany, a gift that cost three times the value of the gift itself to mail, and the bulk of Christmas cards.

I received a Christmas gift from Amazon today. There was a gift receipt but no indication of who the gift-giver might be.

I'm up, I'm up - eight-and-a-half hours of sleep, then calling AAA (the refund did arrive a week ago with no identifier on the refund that would tell me it was AAA.

Monday evening greetings!  My friends in Current Events Club were very pleased with the party favors they found at their luncheon places today.  I’m glad I’d finished making them before Richard’s mishap 2 weeks ago.

Is anyone else singing Sondheim's "Pleasant Little Kingdom" to themselves every time they see today's Subject title?

I thought I might go to NYC in January to see "Morning's at Seven."  Unfortunately, it closed yesterday.
