Richard and I have each spent time today at the package-wrapping station I set up on our dining room table.  We’re usually at the table in the basement that I’ve talked about here in the past.  This year our basement is not fully put back together after the waterproofing and I figured Richard didn’t want to go up and down the steps a lot.  And we won’t be needing our dining room because, if all goes as planned, we’ll be with Charlotte and her parents.

I hope all goes well.

I now have windows 11.

Oh!  I didn't know that it was available, yet.

It popped up today.  I had two choices, take it or decline.  Keith said to take it.

How did the cookies go over, Laura?

The kids seemed to enjoy them. I have blanket permission to give the kids cookies any time I bring them.

It was depressing reading all of the precautions needed to enter the theater :(

We have to do most of that to get into Gammage for the Broadway tours. No purses; items in clear baggies only. Metal detectors. Masks required.

The local theater has a temperature check, masks suggested. They do have special showings that require vaccination cards, but I haven't switched my tickets over to that. I should.

I'm ok with it, except I think the baggie thing is excessive.

While Ann was visiting today, she was watching Annabelle's interaction with me, and her comment was "that cat really loves you."

I would want to switch to proof of vaccinations.  The restaurants in Palm Springs required it to eat inside.

We were required to be vaccinated to visit Keith's aunt & uncle.  Of course we didn't need to prove we have had them :)

Finished the Bergman documentary. He sounds like a real piece of work. But he made some great movies from the demons he lived with. And it was touching to Liv Ullmann. She broke down in tears remembering him as her best friend.

Thanks DR GINNY - I was wondering if the gift-wrapping table had been a casualty of the flood.

I just watched a very funny French film from France called Elena's Men.....starring Miss Ingrid Bergman and several gentlemen.....including Mel Ferrer and Jean Marais.

It is hilarious.....and in beautiful color.  It is available on TCM ONDemand and is highly recommended by the likes of me.  Directed by Jean Renoir.

In the Bergman movie, one of the funniest scenes was a compilation of outtakes of cat refusing to do what Bergman wanted. Apparently the cat didn’t care how dictatorial Bergman thought he could be on the set. Cat 1, Bergman 0.
