All went well with the acupuncturist. I go back Thursday for a follow-up.

I just went through the embarrassment of telling our super his Christmas bonus from Apt. 3C will be a little late this year. I hate my life.

Annabelle and Thatch both turned down their dinners. I hope they're not sick.

My neighbor sent over last night a big container of her inedible chicken soup. About an hour later she called and told me to look out for any bones. Luckily, I had thew sausage roll from Ann and Jen for dinner, but now I'm trying to decide how to throw this soup out. I 'd throw it down the toilet if I knew there were no bones, and I really do not want to go on an archeological dig into it.

They're writing a sequel to West Side Story?

We have a Shell station here in Johnston.  Not the only gas station, no.  We have five or six, but I have used Shell for years.  Thing is, I went there a week and half ago to fill up my car and they were OUT of Regular.  They said they were expecting a delivery any day.

I drove by this morning and now they are out of ALL gas.   Still open, of course, but none of the pumps are functional.  I called and they said they are STILL awaiting a delivery.

I filled up at a BP station.

I searched my Direct-TV guide and found that NO ONE is showing "Holiday Inn" this season.

What?

I can pay to see it, of course.   I have it on Blu-ray...but the point is, why isn't it being shown?

Could it be because Crosby does a black-face number?  Or because of the maid and her two children?

The update is that it was Mom’s arm, not her shoulder. And she can’t see an orthopedic surgeon until Dec. 30.

That is a relief it isn't her shoulder, still.  Vibes she doesn't need surgery.  Will your sister go with her to the orthopedic surgeon?  Is her arm in a cast?

Back from a lovelier than lovely lunch with dear reader Jeanne, who I don't think I've seen for two years. Good food, good conversation, good company. Thankfully, the car behaved. I meant to stop at the bank before coming home but I forgot, so even though I'd rather not, I'll have to go out in an hour or two..

Re the West Side Story sequel, called Maria - it sounds like an absolutely bogus PR grab by two nobodies who either work for or with the Long Wharf Theater or not. Never heard of either, and they haven't even started writing it - why on Earth would the estate of Arthur Laurents even consider such a dopey thing. My guess is they haven't and wouldn't and we'll never hear another peep about it..

I was thinking it would be about Anybodys and the journey to transhood.

The Golden Gate Men's Chorus has posted its 2021 holiday concert on YouTube. The final piece is my arrangement of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Or she ges to prison for participating in the killing of Bernardo and comes out a tough hardboiled dyke. Then she ends up running a lesbian bar and she ends up with Maria in the Village. They participate in the Stonewall riot.

I have no plans for the coming week except MORE estate stuff.....someone did something I asked her not to do....so there you are.

I asked my sister NOT to send my aunt the appraisal list.  They finally called her on the phone yesterday and were telling her about the few things they wanted.....but she sent the appraisal so now they have a shopping list and price list and we haven't heard from them since....I am sure they are checking things off like mad...

My sister is leaving Saturday for a visit with her daughter in Maryland so she wants to get everyone - ALL 24 heirs - through the house before then.  But it ain't gonna happen.  And I can't say anything that she doesn't say NO to....or know a better way.

So I'm not going to talk anymore.  She knows so much she can do it her way......but it ain't gonna get done this week, thank you very much.

Got news when I woke up that Mom fell in her bathroom and broke her shoulder. She’s apparently in an ER overrun with covid cases.

Vibes and prayers and xylophones most appreciated.

Oh, no! :(

After our potential exposure to a cold/covid on our trip, and having to change our plans, we purchased a couple of BinaxNOW at home covid tests.  Actually, we would have purchased them for the trip except the stores were out of them.  We could have purchased other brands on our trip but I was holding out for BinaxNOW as it has the best ratings.

As I suspected last night - dead battery - charged now and running for ten more minutes and we'll hope for the best from there. It's worked properly for five days and I drove a LOT yesterday and it locked perfectly each time. Until I got home last night, then it didn't. I got it to beep but that doesn't work after it hasn't done it properly. Very irritating. Send vibes and xylophones that there are no more issues this week - but this is why I didn't really want to do any long drives like the one I'm about to do.
