Slogging through the last hour of Evan Hansen. Wow. I thought The Lower Depths was a downer. This is even more depressing and has a raft of deadly dull songs.

I went back and read the one-star review on rogerebert.com. It had a remarkable observation about the film. Neither home in the movie looks lived in. They both look too perfect and pristine for that.
