I bought this 45 rpm record for ten cents back in 1966.  It is something that I am sure all the singers here on HHW will want to add to their repertory.

today the auction company came to the BIG house and took away almost everything.....there are a few things here and there....

It will be sold online.....it took FOUR hours for them to load everything in their trailer.  They were very nice and very efficient.

We kept moving from room to room ahead of them.....but eventually we ended up with no chairs to sit in - so to speak.

Congratulations!

Nine pages so far, so that's good. Had a chopped salad for food, from Stanley's. Now I'll mosey on over to the bank and then hopefully pick up some packages. So, only five or six more pages for today and I really am gonna try and finish by six or seven so I can watch something.

I haven’t liked Katrina Lenk since I saw her on a New Year’s Eve special a couple of years ago. And I understand she can’t handle the vocal demands of Being Alive.

I really like the OBC recording of The Band's Visit and she was good in Indecent, but I agree with your assessment of her NYE performance.  I was wondering about her vocals in this show.  I do hope they make a new recording, though.

DR TCB I like Nathan Chen as well and I hope he has a better Olympic season this time around.

His interviews are painful....he always has about three sentences that he repeats to ANY question that is asked of him.

Yes, but I also enjoy Jason Brown.

After Stella was safely inside, Ann stayed to tell me about Company, which she and Jen saw with friends on Saturday night. She said it had moments, they liked Patti Lupone, and really disliked the keady lady playing Bobby.'

Since I've only seen the opening number from one of the talk shows, I have no thoughts on the show itself, but from that one number I think the show, which was about upper middle class New Yorkers when I saw the original production, looks like a group of college students.

Patti is definitely not a college student.  A house mother perhaps.

I thought the opening number was extremely claustrophobic.

I am reading a news article about the Texas Republican candidate for the House of Representatives who has called for a ban on Chinese students from universities in the state.

DR John, one of her reasons is that the state’s taxpayers “should not be subsidizing the next generation of CCP [Chinese Communist Party] leaders” and that it is “common sense” that CCP members “should not have access to our schools.”

My question to you, wouldn't these students be paying full fees, thereby helping to support the universities vs using taxpayers money?

I asked because none of the comments against her mentioned this.

I just saw a super cute orange tabby kitten named Cheetos.  That would be the perfect name for Keith's kitten, if we got an orange tabby.  I attempted to share a photo but it didn't work.

I'm on the verge of getting sick and I have no time for it but if I don't sleep it will come. I may try for a nap after he's gone.

Stay well vibes!

A friend of mine just adopted rescue kittens this weekend, a bonded brother-sister pair. Meet Nivens and Nylund, in honor of Betty White:
