TCB, The Pajama Game is an odd movie. They cut the book so much that it seems like an outline with lots of songs. But when the music starts, I love it.

HBO is going to be offering a new Julian Fellowes show that sounds like an Edith Wharton-inspired drama. It’s called The Guilded Age. Looks good. Makes me want HBO.

Thanks for asking, DR John G. We survived. Due to the Federal public health emergency, anyone that receives state benefits (not purchasing private coverage) receives that coverage indefinitely without having to renew for the moment, so that eliminates a lot of our call drivers temporarily.

I am back from my six-month checkup at the dermatologist.

Which almost didn't happen. They had no record of my appointment, and I had long ago tossed the handwritten card they give you. So first, the receptionist said if I could stick around for half an hour, another doctor could see me because mine is booked solid. I said okay, but five minutes later they somehow worked it out with mine and he took me. This place is good, and hard to get into, so I'm glad for that. A few freezings, and I'm good for another six months. And I'm never again throwing away those appointment cards.  :)

That is the reason I have a day calendar.

Julian Fellowes sounds like a character in a Cole Porter musical.

I am home and happy to be here. There was too much angst since the dept. was running late and I wasn't finished until 1:15. Usually I'm finished by 1:05, and I was worried about missing my ride home. I didn't, so I'm pleased.

At work, I put Post-Its on my Futurama calendar that I have hanging on the wall next to my desk. :)
