Friday evening greetings! Today I made something for tomorrow's dinner that we haven't had in a long time. The Cincinnati Bengals have a playoff game, so we wanted something fun and easy. I made what my mother called "Stuffed Sandwiches:" Mix a block of grated sharp cheddar cheese, chopped black olives, and a bottle of chili sauce. Stuff that mixture into 8 hot dog buns and wrap by pairs in aluminum foil. Chill overnight, then bake (wrapped) in a 375^o oven until the cheese is melty (maybe 20-25 minutes). We'll have those tomorrow around halftime with potato chips and baby carrots.

Wow, what a combination. Actually the cheese and olive part of it sound good.

Oh, yes, It's about 25 miles away. Even though it's convenient to Walmart, The Fresh Market and Sam's Club, I have no need to visit any of those right now, and my appointment was just to go over my labs, so the telecon was the ticket.

It started a half-hour late. Then it featured a half-hour video of someone who is a high-ranking Rwandan official who spoke English very poorly, but it didn't matter. What I heard was pure propaganda and not worth listening to.
