And that is all I have to say about that.

Meanwhile, I had a decent night's sleep. The muscle relaxers were a treat for sleeping.

Today, I am still tender and must watch where I sit and how I sit. I need support or I'm Quasimodo for a while.

It's a beautiful day here. I ate out for lunch. It's a "down" day for most of us as tomorrow is the day of a commemorative lunch at 1 p.m. at the church social hall and visitation from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

All the family will be gathered, and it may be for the last time since my aunt and uncle were the reason we had many whole family get-togethers.

Unless someone steps up (not me) and organizes an event, our get-togethers will be sporadic and in smaller groups.

DR George, I love Judy Collins, and I credit her for a lot of my liberal politics. I am so jealous you got to see her last night. I saw her in concert at Miami University around 1971, juast before her album "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" was released. She had a piano, bass, drums, and two guitarists accompanying her. She only played piano once, to accompany herself on "My Father," which still breaks my heart.

When I worked at Barnes & Noble, 1998-2005, I used to see her often in the store. I'm happy I had the chance to thank her for being a big influence on my life.

My mother's oldest sister and my mother dying young ended our family gatherings
