The concert was successful musically, DR Jane. I don't know how much they raised for Ukraine. But the venue was full.

Back from a terrific matinee and pretty full house - at least thirty more people than the thirty I was told there'd be. They were a great audience and the talkback was REALLY fun.

After, I joined Robert Yacko at the Smokehouse. I brought along our stage manager and backstage gal - I had a gift certificate and that paid for everything. I had a small dinner salad, three pieces of the garlic cheese bread, and the tiny filet, along with creamed spinach.

The first was the overture to Beethoven's Fidelio, and the second piece was composed by a woman from Bulgaria, Dobrinka Tabakova, Concerto for Cello and Strings, with cello by Nathan Chen.

I couldn’t find an Irving Berlin musical that I wanted to watch today.  So, instead I watched BARNUM starring Michael Crawford.  I am sure Mr. Crawford must have sung one or two Berlin songs during his career.  I love BARNUM.  I saw it on Broadway with Jim Dale and Glenn Close.
