Back to proofreading Joshie's scores. I have about 30 bars to go and I am finished.

I woke up early, which is good, because I want to go to work early, so I shall.

Friday afternoon greetings!  I (in Ohio) have just had a video chat with my sister (in Michigan) and niece (in Florida).  We were all sitting at our craft desks whining about how we have no cardmaking mojo.

That is nice.  Did he also visit his cat?

I think the interview went okay. It’s a much smaller company. And that can be good.

I have a job interview this morning. I’m not expecting much to come from it, but I haven’t done one in years. Rusty about those standard questions they always ask.

I hope it went well.

I love all the discussions about Flower Drum Song......I first saw it on television and of course was enamored with the entire enterprise.

Of course the charm of the film players certainly helps....but the songs are just so much fun...and it is filmed in so many clever ways...

I have had a busy morning so I am late to the HHW party.

I am intrigued by MR BK's teases about the new releases!  I could use another Ben Bagley!

It rained A LOT while we were at rehearsal last night.....and OLIVER! was having a full dress rehearsal so there were all kinds of folks running in and out of our rehearsal space.....

The costumes are fabulous - and haven't heard much of the singing.  I shall hear some of it on Sunday at the Open House.

Since, thanks to the dermatologist, we have blisters on our faces we did not go to the gym to avoid wearing masks.

Keith has his Elliptical bike, which hurts my knees, so skipping the gym isn't a big deal to him.

Needing bananas, for Keith as I am avoiding the sugar in them, gave me a destination.

Yep.  My mojo would be much more robust if I'd clean up my crafting desk.

So, a soundtrack is coming out for the TV movie The Ratings Game, score by David Spear BUT - as those who've seen it know, it's about a fictional TV network - and I wrote all the TV themes. When I saw the post about it, I responded, since I'm responsible for a good deal of the music in the film I do hope I'm being credited where necessary. So, the producer/label called me just now - they told me they had me credited on three pieces. I said that was interesting since I wrote about fourteen pieces. He sent me the tray card and indeed everything I wrote is being used, most being credited to David. I just sent them exactly which tracks are mine (they combine some of my stuff into one track). I'm told they'll fix it and I told them that I would prefer my credit not be in teeny-tiny type and buried somewhere, since I'm a major part of the score. I also suggested they send me the tracks, because I'm pretty sure the composer used some of my stuff within his score - I know he did in the end credits. So, may as well have all this correct and then we'll have to see if he's actually paying the mechanical royalty - they can't put out my stuff without at least asking me about that.

So, are these the same tracks that were on your CD of rarities?  Did they say if they spruced up the sound?
