Yes, just saw the blurb didn't paste in correctly - he'll fix it when he gets my message.

The cookout was good. Burgers, brats, and dogs, with a whole bunch of sides.
Post-dessert, they served "Velvet Hammers," an ice cream cocktail. A little goes a long way.

Watched the Company documentary on PBS.org. Really liked it a lot. Except for Katrina Link.

Just watch Mark Rappaport's video essay on Anita Eckberg. Not bad.
Now starting his Debra Paget, For Example.

BK, did I remember correctly that you said these were the last of the Ben Bagley releases for Kritzerland? No Cole Porter Vol. V?

I forgot about Cole Porter V - so that's the last of 'em. Text for Hammerstein has been fixed.

I have finished the last of Mark Rappaport’s odd movie essays. It was “Anna/Nana Nana/Anna” about Anna Sten and actresses who played Nana.

I had to go to my sister's for a bit, then I went to eat at the local KFC just because.

I got the
3 piece Nashville Hot tenders combo
with mashed potatoes instead of the fries, and I just now realized that they didn't give me the biscuit that's also supposed to come with the meal!

I'd never had it before and it was nice and spicy...but not so spicy that I couldn't handle it.

After that, I went to Costco to get some laudry detergent that was the whole reason for my leaving my house today.

Just before I went in, my sister's boyfriend called, asking if I could meet him at my mom's to help get the new electric lawn mower that we all got for my mom's birthday (early...it's next month) out of his car.

We got the boxed up mower out of his car pretty easily, but is definitely was a two-person job.
