Happy Sunday to one and all.  There's a new Broadway Radio Show up on this website for your listening pleasure...it's Streisand Sings Show Tunes, as we celebrate Barbra's 80th Birthday by listening to 32 of her covers of songs from the stage!

Slept well.

When I got up, I suddenly had a bout of verrtigo.  Not pleasant at all.

Feeling better now.

Sunday morning greetings!

DR TCB yes today is the Indianapolis 500 - except what used to be the greatest spectacle in racing is now just another race thanks to the greed and ignorance of the newest owners of the track..

The whole state of Indiana used to be 500 conscious for the entire month of May - and now.....just another race.  Although some folks try to pretend it's still special.

My grandmother used to say she knew where her 3 children and all of her grandchildren would be at noon on race day - if not there in person, glued to a radio somewhere.  She, her 3 kids, and one grandson are no longer with us and I have no idea who’s where, but I’m all settled in front of the TV waiting to hear “Back Home Again in Indiana.”

I managed my walk to the bank, and got home in one piece. I have no more plans for the remainder of the day.

Bruce, cool find in the paper!

"Los Angeles’ biggest crop of babies was born that year, one every twelve-and-a-half minutes, a twelve percent increase from the previous year."

Yes, DR Jane, even though I haven’t lived a day of my life in Indianapolis, many of my fondest memories are from there and a lot of them involve the Speedway.

I could not find a Los Angeles newspaper on my birth dated.  I do have one from the San Francisco Call-Bulletin.  I like headline.

Many people don't know that "Move On" from Sunday and "Hold On" from The Secret Garden were originally "Move Off" and "Hold Off." But wiser heads prevailed.

I’m feeling old. Three hours of dancing this morning. Several more tonight.
