I've been very fortunate in that every cat we've had, from my first girls in 1990 through now, have been completely unperturbed by fireworks.

A neighbor once was not so fortunate. They lost a beloved old dog to his fears on a July 4th. It was just one too many times for him. The one good thing was that he had enjoyed a very long and wonderful life with them.
