Wednesday morning greetings!  We not only went out for breakfast yesterday, but we also went to dinner with our friends Sharon and Tom.  It was a very nice day.

Slept very well.  Waking up is getting rather hard to do, old as I am.

I managed Wordle in four this morning.

Some days I'm hot, and other days I'm not.

Is anyone else here watching, keeping up with, the Hulu program "Only Murders in the Building"?

It's quite quirky and good fun.  Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez are the three stars/producers.

Nathan Lane is in a recurring role.  Jane Lynch was also an amusing addition and she, along with others, has been Emmy-nominated for her role.  An actor named James Caverly plays Theo, son of Nathan Lane's Teddy Dimas.  Caverly is deaf, as is his character, but he's extremely good as the son.

It airs every Tuesday, but one can see all the episodes up to this week's on Hulu.

Many people don't know that this was Neil Sedaka's first draft title.

Every time I see Golan-Globus, I immediately think of gamma globulin.

And when I think of gamma globulin, I immediately think of my boss in 1977-1980 who was the first person I ever heard say it. In fact, he's also the last person I've heard say it.

I believe he or someone he knew had just been given an injection of it to help get over something quickly, which seemed to have worked. But I haven't heard of it since.

Does anyone ... still use ... gamma globulin?

I don't know, DR ChasSmith, but it brings to mind Menotti's opera Help, Help, the Globolinks.

I'm waiting for the HRA phone call.

This morning my new cable box arrived, and Jen and ann casme down to set it up. I've got a nice picture and the DVD player is happily running as well.

The HRA Appeal phone call lasted less than fiuve minutes and was one of the stupidest and most inane situations I have ever encountered. I felt I had scarcely begun my app[eal whjen they said, thank you, and hung up.

No action yet, but a query from someone about an item, so if he comes in that's something.
