Well, you've read the notes, the notes mentioned writing episodes nine and ten, and now it is time for you to post until the episodic cows come home.

Someone wrote a song about sisters. I wonder if anyone ever wrote a song about cousins?

For me in recent years, part of the dining out experience has become previewing the menu online, so that I have worked out a lot of my decision-making in advance.

Something evil hath me in thrall.  Yesterday, like BK, I felt wonky all day. I thought for a while that it was anxiety over the Ohio property, but by 7:30 last night, after I brushed the cats, I knew there was something going on that I cannot explain. I did seriously wonder if I were dying, so I decided to go to bed and die there. By 8:00 I was in bed with Annabelle on the pillow next to me. I awoke around 10:30 to find Thatch had joined us. Then I slept on and off, waking about every two hours. When Annabelle abandoned me and woke me by walking over me, I know it was close to 5:30. I checked the alarm: 5:24, so I turned off the alarm and went back to bed. Around 5:45, Stella tried to get me up, Annabelle came back to lie down with me, and Thatch stopped by just to check in. I decided to get up, thought about it, and went back to bed, I finally decided to rise around 6:15.

I wish I had a pool, like DR vixmom; I would jump in and stay there for a while. That might perk me up.

The Patty Duke theme song and Kissin’ Cousins come to mind.

I did not go back to bed. I did some computer researches and kitty cleanup, wich was interrupted by a play session with Annabelle, who climbs into the bathtub and encourages me to pet her, scratch under her chin and rub her tummy while she rolls about and dances her little polka step. She's so cute.

It's still quite humid and that's more oppression than I need at the moment. It's already 80 degrees F, and the humidity is 70%, which iss 30% more than I'd like.

I enjoyed the notes today.....and MR BK's reminiscence of talking with Mr Walter Graumann - who also directed many episodes of Peyton Place and the classic movie - second only to Citizen Kane - The Disembodied starring Miss Allison Hayes.  He also directed her in at least one episode of 77 Sunset Strip - not to be confused with the other series Surfside Six.....

Yes please let Mr Sherman know how much his music is appreciated even here in the hinterlands - it is played often on the computer and on those things called CDs.....and even records!

DR TCB here are a couple of paragraphs that talk about what I was mentioning....woke wise.

Carlyle and Zaks spent several days at the Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts researching Willson’s documents. Zaks notes that Willson — who wrote The Music Man’s book, music, and lyrics — “must have written over 35 drafts of it, and we looked at most of them along the way.” While staying true to the show’s spirit of good-natured satire, the director says, “We needed to identify what made sense then that might be confusing today.”

New lyrics were provided, for example, for the giddy dance number “Shipoopi.” As originally written, the song opens with the line “Well, a woman who’ll kiss on the very first date is usually a hussy,” and contains morsels of advice, such as “Squeeze her once when she’s isn’t lookin’ / If you get a squeeze back, that’s fancy cookin’.” Musical comedy veterans Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman were enlisted to craft lyrics more in keeping with post-#MeToo sensibilities.

Not that I couldn't have eaten something earlier.

But I don't usually eat first thing in the morn', anyway, so here I am, ready to put away a horse.
