Started watching Chan Is Missing, a movie I've long wanted to see. It's an interesting look at San Francisco's Chinatown. I'm glad I went to the city first.

It's filmed in black and white, sort of like a noir. But it's not really a mystery, despite the title. It's more about a segment of America that we really don't see much of. One of the weirder scenes has been of a Chinese senior center where the regulars are all dancing to a rumba.

Well I asked for a responsive audience and boy did we get it.....to quote MR BK quoting Variety:

Big Laughs and Heavy Mitts.....

The audience was with us from the curtain speech right up until the last note of music....

I do not know of anything interesting or exciting that has happened today, but just for laughs, I stopped on the way home and purchased a scratch off lottery ticket.

I shall do my scratching momentarily.

I do apologize to one all.  I didn’t that you might be interested on the results at the pain clinic.  I better hurry before BK shuts down the day.

So, today I finally met the doctor who runs the clinic.  I would not say that she gave a good first impression.  I said it was nice to finally meet her.  And the first thing she said to me was, “Well, I know.  Paul (my PA) just laid it on the line. He says I must meet all of the patients.”  SAY WHAT?

I wanted to say her that since we are probably paying her condo or ski chalet payments every month, that I would think that the law or the AMA would require her to meet all of the people who are getting their narcotics from her.

She did ask about my hand, because I had told he4 medical assistant about it.  I explained it very complete detail everything I could think of.  She said, “Well, since the whole thing has only been going on for two weeks, I wouldn’t think it was anything to worry about yet!”
