Good morning, all! I 've been up since 5:30, I'm washed, dressed, and feeling quite disoriented. I have to put in some time this morning on the Act Two cello book for THE GOLDEN APPLE before I subway down to 14th Street and the recording office. I need to photocopy some things I need for the DC trip on Wed, and pack up anything else I need to take with me.
Yesterday, Tom Murray and I did the final edit on "The Healthfood Man," a comedy song from Act One in BABES IN TOYLAND, I filed away more of the litter on my desk, and then I went to the NYPL to look for a BABES scrapbook that's been misplaced since 2003. It's still missing, and now I've got two librarians promising me it will turn up; this was my fourth search for it in two years, and I'm feeling a bit discouraged by the NYPL at the moment. Luckily, there are a lot of other BABES scrapbooks, but I need this one. Now!
Breakfast anywhere? As long as it's not coffee and oatmeal in this apartment, anywhere else sounds good.
