The few reviews I saw of the Terry Gilliam version of Into the Woods were mixed. They liked the spectacle, but apparently the pacing isn't fast enough. Almost everyone called the show too long. Maybe it took time to get all those fanciful settings in place.

They were nowhere near as nice as the reviews were for the current Broadway production. But on both sides of the Atlantic, critics liked the cow.
