When we did Beth's Life I Never Led at a benefit, we only had a band of about seven or eight and I think we created something for that. If it's a big orchestra, they'll usually request the parts. The performer rarely would.

I just read an article from yesterday that, due to an error, an immediate evacuation notice interrupted regular TV programming in the Los Angeles area Wednesday, telling the entirety of L.A. County and the "Eastern North Pacific Ocean" area to evacuate due to a fire.

I went to acupuncture today, then stopped at Trader Joe's. 96 degrees. When I returned home the apartment was 87, the highest it's ever been! I'm trying to cool it down, but it's taking a loonnnngg time.
