Terrible night of non-sleep - maybe four hours overall - due to extreme and excruciating heartburn from the pepperoni and no Pepcid to help. I thought about buying some the first day I was here and never got around to it. Bad move.

While I am very sorry you didn't have any Pepcid last night, I am also shocked that you didn't travel with it.  I would expect you to never go anywhere without it.

Tuesday morning greetings!  Richard has his post-op appointment today with the carpal tunnel surgeon.  He’ll be glad to have those stitches removed.

I bet.  I hope Richard is pleased with the results of the surgery.

I haven't had all that much NYC pizza. As far as slices go, just a couple of times, years ago, from one of the many "Ray's" types of jernts found all over.

(The variations on "Ray's" in NYC are like those in L.A. imitating the "Tommy's" name.)

The "nicer" places where someone has taken me were fine. But I could eat Connecticut (or New Haven) style pizza for the rest of my days and never miss any other. It's a little different (not THAT different, nothing to worry about) and absolutely exquisite.
